On the morning of June 17, 2022, the kick-off meeting of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association's standards "Assessment Standards for the Ability of Prefabricated Building Concrete Components Production Workers" and "Evaluation Standards for the Ability of Assembly Workers of Prefabricated Concrete Buildings" undertaken by JCC successfully held in Beijing!
Chu Bo and Gao Yaqing, leaders of the Certification Insurance and Engineering Procurement Working Committee of China Construction Standardization Association, Wang Li, general manager of JCC, Hu Guofang, manager of R&D Department, Gao Chunfeng, director of prefabrication, and external experts Wang Ruitang and Lv Xueyuan attended the meeting. Participating units CITIC Construction, Beijing Construction Engineering Construction Industrialization Investment and Construction Development Company, Hengjun Building Materials, China Construction Second Bureau, etc. participated in the online meeting. Experts and leaders at the meeting affirmed and spoke highly of the writing value and significance of the "Standard", and put forward reasonable opinions and suggestions.
At present, the domestic prefabricated concrete structure system accounts for more than 70% of the prefabricated buildings. For worker training and quality improvement, the government has issued many documents and policies: "Opinions on the Implementation of the Lifelong Vocational Skills Training System", "The General Office of the State Council Forwarded Housing and Urban-Rural Construction" Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other departments on accelerating the cultivation of construction industry workers in the new era.
The two "Standards" focus on the production and assembly construction industry of prefabricated concrete building components, which will promote the training and ability evaluation of prefabricated components production and assembly construction personnel, and help to achieve high-quality development of the prefabricated building industry. The compilation, release and implementation of the "Standard" can fill the gap in the evaluation standards for workers in the domestic prefabricated construction industry.
